NACA members from the state of Maryland went to Senator Barbara Mikulski's office at the Capitol Hill on July 27, 2010, to advocate for affordable mortgage modification. The Senator's constituents were especially wary of their Chase mortgages, as Chase has not been cooperating to determine the best available mortgage solutions. Distressed Maryland residents ask Senator Mikulski to call Jamie Dimon, the CEO of Chase, on their behalf and demand affordable mortgage solutions. NACA has binding agreements with all of the major mortgage servicers and lenders, and advocates for mortgage modification programs that are based on a homeowner's ability to pay. NACA is having its 20th Save the Dream event in Washington, DC through Friday July 30th, and members without solutions are going to the Hill as a last resort to seek help from their elected officials.
